Payroll 2024 – Parental Leave - 9 May 2024 (On Demand)

Description

Understanding Parental Leave!

Please note there will be no live Q&A at the end of this session. Instead all of the submitted questions will be documented and circulated post webinar.

Understanding and calculating leave entitlements when your employees are heading off on parental leave or when they have returned can prove to be a difficult process to manage in payroll.

With many of the legislative acts being difficult to interpret, this webinar will provide insight into processing leave relating to parental leave, including a look at:

  • Managing changing entitlements – the effect of reduced hours per week
  • Managing the employee’s annual leave entitlements
  • Administering the payroll to ensure the employee is paid correctly for annual leave.
  • Practical examples to work through
  • Administering the documentation required over the application and return to work period.
