Unlock the story behind the numbers—our Part 1 webinar gives new lawyers the confidence to read financial statements and uncover what really matters in clients’ legal affairs
More often than not, financial statements related to client matters tend to come across the lawyers’ desks reasonably often. In some cases, this is far too often…. But they are important documents whether they refer to a clients’ trusts account, finance, share valuations, or other legal matters. These documents tell us a story about our client’s legal affairs, and when provided to us, they do require us to read through them carefully and understand the numbers. The challenge when trying to determine what the numbers mean and what they tell us about our client’s affairs is that the numbers and columns can be confusing! This can be a big challenge for lawyers especially if you do not come from an accounting or financial background.
In this part 1 webinar we’ll provide you with a 101 on how to read financial statements and getting to grips with what it is the numbers are telling you that New Lawyers need to be aware of.
