Description

NZ's Largest Benchmarking Survey of Accounting Firms

For over a decade CCH Business Fitness NZ has been collating data to provide benchmarking tools and insights into the trends affecting New Zealand accounting industry.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Benchmarking Survey has been designed using feedback from contributors to enable greater analysis into those areas of key concern.

What the report covers:

The report is designed to provide you with an analysis of the financial and management trends across New Zealand accounting firms and covers a number of key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable you to benchmark your firm against your peers.

The 2015 survey asked participants what KPIs were the most important to them. Following their response, we have broken down the report into the following sections:

  • Highlights: looks at what has happened during the 2015 year
  • Percentage increase of revenue: looks at how firms are increasing their revenue
  • Write-offs: provides an analysis into how firms are recovering work in progress
  • Debtor days: outlines the systems contributors have to manage their debtors
  • Productivity: looks at how firms are motivating their team
  • Profit per partner: provides an analysis of how firms turn revenue into higher profits

Special Interest 2015:

Based on previous contributor requests, the special interest area looks at the services firms provide and how much time contributors are spending on compliance based tasks versus other services.

The report examines both the percentage of time spent and revenue derived from different categorisations of services and the percentage of firms providing particular services. Also included are strategies on how to implement new services in your firms and best practice trends from those firms who have implemented them well.

If you only implement one thing from this report you will truly see the value in your $195+GST investment*.

*The report comes in an e-book format, hard copies are available for purchase for an additional $30+GST. To add a hard copy to your order please call Maria Tough on 09 212 9405.
