Jarod Chisholm

Jarod Chisholm, Findex (TEO)

Jarod is the Managing Partner of the New Zealand Tax Advisory Team for Findex/Crowe and has been a regular presenter for TEO, presenting on a wide range of topics in all areas of tax. Jarod’s background includes working in "Big 4" firms in Australia and New Zealand in the tax domain, and working for large corporates as a management accountant. Jarod is recognised as an industry leader in the area of foreign investment and regularly assists other accountants/advisors with their clients. He provides commercial, practical advice in all areas of tax.

He has been practising in tax advisory for over 25 years and is a sought-after speaker on tax topics, including for CCH, CAANZ and TEO Training courses and as lecturer at the University of Otago.

Daniel Gibbons

Daniel Gibbons, Findex (TEO)

Daniel is a Partner for Findex in Queenstown. He has been with Findex for 17 years, where he advises on a wide range of tax matters, including property transactions and property ownership structures, international taxation issues, the tax treatment of investments and providing structuring advice to clients, including assistance for family group restructures. Daniel is recognised as a leader in the taxation treatment of short stay accommodation, providing training to other practitioners.

Nola is a Senior Manager for Findex in the Dunedin Tax Team. Nola has been with Findex for over 15 years, where she advises on a wide range of tax matters for clients and other professional advisory firms, including company structures and structuring or restructuring opportunities for businesses including relationship property considerations.

Craig Macalister

Craig Macalister, Findex (TEO)

Craig is a Taxation Advisory Partner at Findex in Invercargill. He has unrivalled experience in this role, providing the firm and its clients with advice on all aspects of GST, income tax and fringe benefit tax. He joined Findex following his role as Tax Director with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. This role primarily involved leading the Institute’s direction and input on tax policy and overseeing the Institute’s Tax Advisory Group. Craig is a co-author of the Staples Tax Guide and GST in New Zealand.

Peter Loerscher
