Employment Agreement Essentials 2021- the Do's and Don’ts - 26 October 2021 (On Demand)

Required terms, recommended terms and terms for a Covid-19 environment

The law requires that all employees have a written employment agreement, but what should go in such a document, and why?

The employment agreement is the foundation document for the employment relationship. A well drafted employment agreement should assist both parties to understand what they can and can’t do. With a well written agreement, misunderstandings are less likely to happen and if problems do arise then the employee and employer can go to the employment agreement to clarify things.

This webinar will be a practical look at the key issues parties to an employment relationship, and their advisors, need to know, particularly in the context of an evolving Covid-19 environment.

The webinar will cover:

  • Key terms; what should and what must be included in an employment agreement
  • Different types of employment agreements
  • Changes and variations to employment agreements and what to do when these are required
  • Rules, policies and procedures and how these fit alongside employment agreements;
