This webinar considers practical issues that arise with GST and property transactions.

The main focus of this webinar is GST issues arising with agreements for sale and purchase of real estate. This includes the GST pricing clauses and GST warranties in the latest version of the ADLS / REINZ Agreement for Sale and Purchase of Real Estate. GST issues arising with nominations, zero-rating and “split supplies” will also be considered in some detail.

Other topics covered will include the GST treatment of short-stay accommodation, understanding when a one-off subdivision amounts to a “taxable activity” and practical tips on claiming second-hand goods credits.
