With the passing of the Trusts Act 2019 in late July, its decision time for professional trust service providers.

Whether you offer professional trustee, trust administration or trust advice services, there’s work required to prepare firms, teams and trust clients for a more transparent trust environment.

With the new Act effective on 30 January 2021, 15 months (which includes two Xmas/New year breaks) doesn’t give much time to review existing appointments and practices and get staff, co-trustees or trust clients up to speed.

Whatever you decide, you need to hit the ground running in 2020. This webinar is designed to help you do that by answering:

  • How do I get a good handle on the trusts I’m already in?
  • How do I tell co-trustees or trust clients that things need to change?
  • What should I be thinking about if I want to exit trust services?

With increased transparency of trustee duties and obligations under the new Trusts Act, firms offering trust services need to be on top of their game. That’s essential when you’re held to a higher standard of care as a professional trustee.
