This webinar will give tax agents further detail on the next round of improvements in Inland Revenue’s transformation, as well as a refresher on payday filing.
In April 2019, Inland Revenue will implement the next phase of changes designed to make tax easier and more certain. These changes focus on individuals’ income tax, and will also build on changes already introduced for tax agents and businesses.
Payday filing is a change that will see employers file employment information with Inland Revenue more regularly; specifically, each payday. It has been voluntary since April this year, but will be mandatory for all employers from April 2019.
This webinar will build on the ‘What tax changes are coming up in April 2019’ webinar held earlier this year, and provide more detail for tax agents on what the changes mean for them, especially when using myIR. This webinar will also remind tax agents what they should be doing now to get them and their clients ready for payday filing.
This webinar will include a question and answer session.
Tax agents and other staff from firms of all sizes are encouraged to attend.
Past free Inland Revenue CCH Learning webinars are available through CCH Learning On Demand.
Attendees will be informed about the next phase of changes at Inland Revenue, and know what they need to do to get ready for payday filing
